Vickey F. and her husband raise their grandchildren: Anthony (4.5) and Kailee (a 3 year old special needs child), because their mother and the father are out of the picture and unable to care for them. Vicki and her husband took both of them at birth and are their legal guardians. Vickey runs a little thrift second hand store. Her husband was a supervisor for 18 years until he was hit from behind by a fork truck at work, destroying his left knee. He recently had a third surgery. They have to travel 80 miles one way to her husband\'s doctor. \"We have worked long and hard all of our life. And it breaks my heart that I have to ask for help. But we are $1,078.33/two payments behind on the house plus another $688.00 due. We are $800.00 behind on a loan payment at bank. They hold the title to our truck and car. We have a shut off notice for the lights $165.00 and phone $ 289.00 because we are behind on it. We have very little food. The kids need clothes and shoes. Any help at all would be a blessing.\"
