Darlene J. is a single divorced women living on her own , doing in-home daycare for about 29 years. Recently she broke her foot. ” It has become difficult for me to physically keep up with the children I take care of everyday while wearing the boot from my broken foot. These things have set me back financially. I owe quite a bit in back rent, plus I don\'t have the money for this month’s rent as well. I am extremely stressed that my landlord might evict me if I cannot come up with the money I owe him soon. I have tried to contact him to try and work something out, a payment plan, to no avail. There has been no answer or a return of any of my calls. Also my other bills are beginning to pile up because of this situation my car payment, utilities, etc. Usually I am the first one who will try and help someone who needs it, but this time I am the one in need of help. Any help that could be given would be greatly appreciated”.
