Eula T. is a single mother of 3 kids: Randy (16), Rahsan (13) and Aaliyah (7). She works as a secretary at a middle school. She just had back surgery, was out of work, and missed a rent payment. As a result, she was served with an eviction notice. “I am very scared that we will be on the streets. I just started working in August, and did not get my first check until September, and then it was not a full pay. I had to move out of my home into a one bedroom apartment, because of my personal relationship issues. was forced to leave two of my kids with their father, because I cannot afford to drive them back and forth to school everyday”. She now lives with Aaliyah, and sees her boys over the weekends. “My apartment is small , but when we are together it feels good and at home. I need help so I do not get evicted. My Church is trying to help me as much as they can. I have so many late fees on my utility bills -- but my main concern is my apartment.
