Carmen (40) and her husband, Robert (50), both are in dire need of help. Robert has been suffering from seizures for six years and is no longer able to walk. He lost his job as an Accounting Manager due to his illness. Carmen suffers from chronic migraines, severe depression and has a dislocated disc that needs immediate surgery. A few years ago Robert was the victim of identity theft and lost almost everything, including their home. With some savings that Robert had they rented an apartment. Savings have run out now, their utility bills are past due and they are facing an eviction. “I used to work at a childcare program but due to Robert’s illness I have to stay home and take care of him full-time.
