Let's Help This Wonderful Mother of 8 Keep Her Home

Juliet L. is the proud mother of 8 children, and suffered a tragic loss when her 9th disabled daughter passed away in 2004 from pneumonia at age 7. Three of her children currently reside with her: Gregory (17), Jonathan (16), and Julienn (22 months). She lives on Social Services Aid currently, but has been seeking employment as a freelance writer, which is her occupation. She last worked as a reporter for a small community newspaper in 2005-2006. \"Being a sigle mother with no help is really hard, sometimes I do not know where to turn for help but I know that better times are ahead of me.\" Juliet has lived in her house for 30 years and is on the verge of losing it due to back property taxes. She also faces a large shut-off notice for her gas and electric. \"These circumstances came about because I didn\'t have funds to pay because I had to bring my house up to Code within the last couple of years. Repairs that I had to do were hot water heater, replace rotting floors in the bathroom & living room, interior doors, replace rotting kitchen sink base, replace toilet, bathroom sink, replace furnace, insulation, exterior doors, 2 windows, new wiring & circuit breaker, and several misc. items which I accomplished through funds of my own and a few community organizations.
