Donald S., his wife and son, Taylor (20), were hit with an F5 tornado. Their home sustained major damage and insurance only paid a tiny fraction of the $240,000 in estimated damage. "We lost everything, including photos, clothing, all the things that we had purchased with so much effort. Today we have no driveway, no outside building and 20 stumps in yard. I was also recently laid off from a job as a butcher at a local super market after doing this type of job for 25 years. I only draw $209 each week. My wife is a nurse and makes $240 each month. Our power bill is $375 each month, our water bill is $750. I also had a fall of 25 feet where I broke my back, leg, arm and ribs. I suffer from a lot of pain as a result, and my pain medications are very expensive. My son,Taylor, has a part time job at the same super market where I used to work, and he tries his best to help us with bills and to get daily food. There are weeks we don’t have food money. Please help us through these hard times. Thank you very much." Update: Their house is still damaged and they still do not have the income to fix it.
They need: $700 bill assistance; $1000 house repairs; $500 prescription assistance; $600 for doctor bills
