Frank A. is a single father of 3 (Frank 12, Alicia 10, Pasqual 7). He works as a truck delivery driver for a chemical factory in Hayward. He recently moved to Fremont so his kids could grow up where he did and be in a good environment. Frank's take-home pay is only $520 per week, but his rent is $1755 a month. After rent Frank is left with $325, and after gas he only has $200 for food. He is trying to get a second job, but being a single father of 3 is hard and he cannot afford day care or similar assistance. Frank's sister helps with groceries. "She has been a blessing. She was the one who referred me to GiveLocally, and she also helps take care of my kids while I am at work. I need help with school clothes, shoes and supplies. I had to pay $121 for my daughter's dentist last month unexpectedly when a tooth had to be pulled and a spacer had to be made. I am really in need of school supplies and also food. I need my kids healthy and can't afford them getting sick. Any help will be welcome and appreciated from my kids.
