Jaqueta is completing her senior year of college. " I have been blessed to receive scholarship funding for my school expenses. I also recently acquired a job as a retail sales associate. However, recent cutbacks in the company have resulted in me being able to work no more than 20 hours per week. I am facing a possible eviction, I was forced to quit school in order to work as much as possible to try to pay my rent. But I still finished the lease owing my landlord over $1200. I was able to find a new place to stay, and moved in by paying only a couple of hundred dollars of prorated rent, but with my car payment, car insurance, gas, and groceries coming out of my paycheck, I have been unable to afford even turning my electricity in the new place on, much less pay the $700 rent to stay. My new property manager, Lena G., has been understanding enough to wait, but I haven\'t managed to secure another job or source of income to ensure that I will be able to get back on my feet. Losing this place would result in my returning home to live with my mother and giving up my chance at a college degree (due to the fact that I currently attend a private school and attempting to transfer would result in loss of my scholarship funds and having to start my undergrad program over from the beginning). Thank you so much for your help."
They need: $1500 for rent assistance; $1500 for utility bills; $500 for basic needs
